I feel the obsession to retain that moment in the growth of a plant,
of naked branches, the shapes kept in a frozen puddle, ephemeral
designs of a drop of water or the drawings of sand waves in the seabed,
or the shapes described by erosion in a rock as testimony of just
a moment in geologic time. I admire the ever changing shapes that
nature draws. I believe Nature is the greatest source of creativity.
I try to share my intimate and personal vision of what drives my attention
in Nature. I don’t need to go far to find my inspiration, simple forms of
nature catch my attention in order to be photographed, retained,
feeling certain that these conditions will not be repeated again,
not in the same way.
This brings up the idea of “Impermanency”, of transition,
of continuous transformation.
